Yes. A Love Apart was created specifically for married couples separated by incarceration who want help strengthening their connection, writing more meaningful letters consistently, and finding Christ-centered encouragement together.

How do the Letter-Writing Devotionals work?

Each one includes reflection questions, couples’ connection activities, guided letter prompts, and more to help you grow closer through your letters while encouraging you both along the way. As you work through each devotional, you’ll read, reflect, and write or type your responses and heartfelt letter right in the pages. Send it to your spouse to read and work through the same devotional, then write you back, sharing their own responses and heartfelt letter.

Are they completely free & will I receive them right away?

Yes, you'll receive two completely free, full Letter-Writing Devotionals for you and your spouse to do together! Your 1st devotional will arrive right after you sign up, and your 2nd will arrive one week later.

How do I get the devotionals to my spouse?

You can either print out the devotionals, write your responses and letters by hand to mail to your spouse, or copy and paste the content into an e-mail or e-message and type in your responses and letters to send to your spouse.

Why are they sent a week apart?

Each Letter-Writing Devotional is sent one week apart to give your mail a little time to reach your spouse before the next one arrives. We know mailrooms can take some time, too, especially for longer letters. And since these aren't just short messages, weekly seemed like a good balance for deeper connection and consistent writing.

Will there be more devotionals in the future?

A full 12-month journey will be available in the near future, with four new Letter-Writing Devotionals each month. They'll be sent weekly as well, giving you a guided way to stay connected and grow closer together consistently throughout the year! And the monthly subscription will be just $7 a month.
